Property listing data: When you list a property, we collect property details, pricing information, urgency preferences, photos, and contact details you choose to share.

  • Display property listings to potential buyers
  • Facilitate communication between buyers and sellers
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, listing updates)
  • Send marketing communications (with your consent)

  • Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data based on: contractual necessity (to provide our services), legitimate interest (to improve and secure the platform), consent (for marketing communications), and legal obligation (to comply with UAE law).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Other users: Your listing details and chosen contact information are visible to registered buyers
  • Service providers: Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (analytics), Resend (email)

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Listing data is retained for 90 days after expiration or sale. After account deletion, we retain anonymized analytics data but delete all personally identifiable information within 30 days.

8. International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers outside the UAE. We ensure adequate protection through standard contractual clauses and compliance with UAE PDPL requirements.

DistressFinder.ae is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
